As far as I can tell none of our comments were harsh or had anything to do with purest, aka originality, but substandard repair (and that goes for any vehicle). Why do it right when you can do it twice. Takes the same amount of time and less money. Was also mentioned that it’s his car and can do as he chooses. Make repairs with Duct tape, Rage Uktra Bondo and gold plating paint on a Ferrari chat site and you should expect some critique.

And yes. The left and right rear bumper strut is attached to the frame rail and boxed in and sealed. ( non-structural) Didn’t mention method of attachment, riveted, welded, glued etc. What next? Want to argue the color of an Apple? Drill some rivets out and cut around the sealer, take the pieces to a heating and AC Business , have them bend new pieces and rivet them back in. All this for less than $100. ( Ferrari owner so I was assuming he can afford that). his method of repair acceptable to you?, can guarantee I won’t be considering your car should it come up for sale.
Might take another look at the photos and notice the square horizontal crossmember is cracked and broken. Maybe cover that crack with Bondo also
