I am going to try out this new Remus exhaust. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well let's see, in parts it was about $1,200. The dealers quote in the area $6500 for the engine out major. So that's a saving of about $5,200. No I'm not a mechanic, just a guy that got tired of paying over inflated prices to have my Ferrari worked on. Like I said before, if you have done a rebuild on the size engine you were describing then don't even bat an eye at working on a 348. They really aren't that hard to work on. But please don't be mislead, than can have their challenges, just like working on anything else. There have been time I wanted to just torch the flippen car. But once you have it figured out the next go around is simple as pie.
Not a bad price. How about power gains, and improved sound? Any dyno results, or sound clips? You know how us Ferrari owners love that F1 sound, and, no sense spending that money if you aren't gonna release some power.
R&D on this car was done over 15 years ago so we do not have actual dyno sheets and sound clips. Weight of the exhaust system is 16.50kg. Backpressure has been reduced by about 40%. Price is around 1750$, sorry for the confusion, currency exchange got mixed up.
Why is the cover plate tacked on like that? Never seen it before, so I assume there is a specific engineering reason for that design?
I am going to add twin tail pipes on each side. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
No, leave it like that, I like it, looks different. So how about the sound, and any improved performance?
