It is, and I'm not really certain that it's a good idea. Haha.

Big mistake ... 328s are the most desirable of all the V8 cars for multiple reasons ... good as gold bars.

Just how many times are you going to make the mistake of selling your 328s?

Here's the deal. I love my car. LOVE it! I have an incredible bond with the car and part of me thinks that I'm a complete ******* for even considering selling it. But I've had 7 Ferrari 328's now, including this one twice. I don't think that there's a 328 experience that I haven't had. I've gone on road trips, I've shown them in concours events, I did 1000 miles in 16 hours in one, etc. I think that it's time for me to experience something new in the Ferrari world, and I think a 360 would be a good combination of style, ease of servicing, comfort, power, etc. At least that's what I keep telling myself...

I think you should keep the 328 and add a 355. Just sayin! :D Although the 360s seem to be getting lower and lower in the purchase price...so a lot of value there if you are fond of the model.

    Fine. Understandable.
    Stop lying to yourself.

Obviously, John knows what he's talking about. If not a 355, then just jump into a 488.

...just a thought. If you acknowledge it needs a thorough detail, why not get it cleaned up so it's presented in it's best light prior to sale if you're trying to get top dollar for it?

I drive Ferrari's every day and have 2 in the garage. I have driven the who's who of cars and I cannot conceive going through life without a 328 to drive. When we got it, it came down to a 328 or a 360. You know which we chose.

I bought a 911 once. Bought it because it was good value and in really good condition with low miles. A 2003 model. I liked it. It was easy to drive, low maintenance and an all around good car.

But since I was about 10 years old I have always wanted a Ferrari. But not just any old Ferrari, a red on tan 328 GTS (the more modern version of Magnum's).

I had books on them, video tapes on them, posters on them, brochures on them, photos on them.

One day I woke up and said what am I doing with this Porsche?! I don't love the Porsche, I never lusted after the Porsche and I never had any 996 stuff before i bought the Porsche. It's just not my passion.

Within a month the Porsche was gone and my dream car replaced it. The GTS.

I hope to have this car for a long, long time. When you invest so much time lusting after something it's very hard to shake it off.

I know I will be tempted by other special cars to buy (or swap with) for this one along the way, but I can't deny my first love.

Whenever I see one out on the road or parked at a show, my eyes will always open just that little bit wider.

I hope you can say the same for a 360 or F430, etc.

    I know I can't...

Oh, don't go dumping on the 360 just yet. I know that I at least would make myself live with a 360 Challenge Stradale. I have a chance to try one and the personality of that car is all Hyde, no Jekyll. If there is an F1 car to be stuck with, that is the one. As for getting one, it is getting more difficult to find.

As for 911, well, not all 996 is bad.

I see what you guys are saying. Point taken. It was a bonehead move to mention that. The car isn't dirty, but it is driven regularly so it could always use a professional detail. I didn't want to get one done because it would be a waste with how much I drive it. I'd be happy to include one in the sale though.

Oh, don't get me wrong Mitchell. The Porsche was never a bad car as such. I was just a bit too sterile for me.

Once the 328 came along I knew I had made the right call… for me.

Your 996 looks a lot less tame then mine was.

    Nice one !!
