That's going to be put back on thursday after the detailing. ...you forgot the 355 suspension bushes. Nah mate. I like people to see me when I drive it. It's 5am now. Can't sleep. Have to get ready for the 5 hour journey now. Can't wait!!!!

Day 49 Today was the day that I finally picked up Rocky. Left home at 6:10am and got to Al's place at midday. Car looked fantastic. Many thanks to Al for doing such a great job. If you need a respray of any kind on your pride and joy, Al's the man. Drive home took around 5 hours and I dropped by to see Phil and too a few pictures of both our cars side by us. Scariest moment on the drive back was having a large brick sizes object hitting the front of the car on the motorway. fortunately, it turned out to be polystyrene!!! Next is the paint correction and waxing by Dave. He should be coming end of this week and taking a couple of days to get the car all tip top and shiny. I do miss teh stripes, but i'm glad i didn't put them on this time. The car looks soooo sexy as it is especialy in teh new shade of black. :d 2 minutes to go!!!

Next... the engine bay. Having spent nearly 3 months oin a paintshop it was full of dust!!! So dave & ian did a quick engine clean. The also do a proper clean, but that's only realy possible when the engine was out. Electrical contacts were covered with plastic bags and foil. The car started first time after the engine clean.
