Hi guys, just found this pic of my 348 and thought I would share........ dare I say shade's of Miami Vice
Hi, Welcome to the Brotherhood and more importantly the Bianco 348 Club..!! There are not many of us!! Your 348 has similar front bumper to mine. Is this the car that was originally owned by someone from the Middle East?? Regards, Phil.
Hi Phil, It's from Hong Kong and as far as I can tell, the front bumper hasn't been modified. I got the roof panel colour coded - and was money well spent in my opinion. Body wise - it is spot on, same mechanically (for the time being), but the interior is a bit less pleasant. It seems like most of the airvents and interior plastics are melting and are all sticky! So, I'll definitely be needing to address this. Last week the speedo decided to die and the interior heating/ventilation/AC panel has never worked and just kept showing some kind of code on the display (so I unplugged it for the short-term). The centre console appears to be disintegrating anyway Seats and carpets are good though! Cheers Lee
Thanks mate. I'll take some more pics this weekend, especially of the interior - see if some of you experts can make some recommendations on how to make it a bit more inviting!
I'm no expert but "lacquer thinners a few rags a screw driver, some black paint and plenty of time" will mostly sort out your interior. Plenty of good threads around here explaining the "how to" I love you car in white, it really looks fresh! I noticed your user name also, had me giggling......
Hello Lee, The front bumper is non standard, they only came from the Factory with one vent so it has been modified like mine. Yes, nice touch with colour coding the roof always looks 100% better!! The heat in HK would cause the sticky paint problems, easy to fix, remove from the car and clean with oven cleaner and repaint with Satin Black paint, mine was the same till I repainted the parts. Post the code that shows up on the AC unit in the Tech section on here and I`m sure the brothers in the States will tell you what the code means, I think Hill Engineering can repair them as they are NLA from Ferrari and very expensive if you can find one? I have added a pic of mine after 500 dirty miles on its way to Italy. Look forward to seeing you around. Regards, Phil. Image Unavailable, Please Login
