Hi Guys Came back to the parking garage tower next to a place I was having a meeting at and I see two huge knife cuts in the top of my car :-( I was so pissed and I am sure you can imagine how bad it looked. The parking garage security guys were jerkin around somewhere and saw and knew nothing. As a temporary solution I had a the top sewn with high strength thread and then had the cuts silconed with a black version of it to keep the elements out. I need a Fellow Ferraristi to help me out on a solution to get the canvas replaced or......???? Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks Guys
Salman - sorry to see this report. Violating, isn't it? Given the temperatures you must be experiencing, it can't make it any more bearable to have the top damaged.

i too was a victim of vandilization before. its a ****ing shame !!!!! some jerkoffs jealous of someones pride and joy. i would love to catch someone in the act, i would severly beat the **** out of them. then call the cops and say the bastid attacked me too.
This is just bad, I feel your pain. Someone did that to my Merc ragtop before. Don't worry too much about it, the pain will go off & if it doesn't leak don't waste big money on a new top. I used those heavy duty & waterproof black duct tape which worked fine for few years.

contact re-originals I thinkthey are in Texas..they advertise in hemmings..they got what you need...Personally, I'd just sew it up for a while and live with it esp. if rain and leaks are not a major concern...remember it si only a car..enjoy!

Guys thank you for your words of support, this happened over 2 years ago and 2 weeks later I had the top replaced by an original Ferrari canvas top and accessories which I purchased from QV Ferrari of London. The Ferrari dealership charged me USD 1800 just for installing the new top. So what can I say. Atleast my pride and joy is looking at her best as always. Yukkkkk! The $1800 labor cost is huge! but if including all canvas and accessories is sounding more reasonable IMO! BTW, now your car is looking nice as new!
ive spent two hours on the weekend buffing and polishing the damage. to a metalic silver 206 pug but it still stands out. any ideas i would like some feed back.
