I do 3D modeling for fun and for work(sometimes). Its mostly a way for me to unwind from the long day of college (haha). Well i was trying to decide where to place this so i decided that the show room would be best because of all the other great class of artwork that has been posted in here. I my work will be as widly accepted as theres was.

I'll just through up some glamor shot of it. its still a work in progress. total time spent so far on it i think is close to 50 hours.

not a bad model.. I too am afflicted with the 3d addictio...err.. hobby...

some of the proportions do seem off though... taillights and the badge on the hood more than anything else.. rendered in brazil?

Email sent. My agency has a great need for 3D modelers at the moment - specifically, ones that can model vehicles.

Thanks for everyone’s support. Yes I do think the tail lights were too small I’m rectifying that now. This is my 5th car model. I use 3ds max 7 with metal ray render. I’m going to ask my parent for Max 8 for Christmas. Being mostly self taught at this I push my self each time to make them better and better.

I'll post up some of the other car I have made.

Ok guys I enlarged the rear lights and did another cut around the rear great. I’m going to start the cut in the rear window vents next. Tell me if the lights are closer to real size. Thanks –Alan

PS: I’m looking forward to Crystal cove this weekend as well. I haven’t seen a Ferrari in 3 months I’m having withdrawals….lol
