    hi everyone,
im just writing this to underline my disagreement with the far spread opinion that ferraris are write-offs after 30000km.
the more i drive mine the better it gets. it drives clearly better now that is has ever done and the last 30000 km it was totally
    trouble-free.
drive them in all weathers and circumstances and they get better and better!!!

Thank you for the good news, mine has only 23,000 KM. Did you change any mechanical parts during this 111,000 KM?

no, i'm not trying to see how far i can go with it, i'm just driving and enjoying it!
as for main repairs: i had all the typicall 456 repairs: several rear-shocks, spoiler mechanism, fly-wheel, plus several little but
quite nervracking faults: audio-unit failure, window-gap (of course), fuel gauge failure, one set of front shocks, one leaking hose,
leaking radiator, and i might have forgotten one or two little things... . but most of these faults accured during the first 40000km,
except the ever coming again problems like leaking rear shocks and window gaps. although my windows close perfectly since about
3 years (no explanation why...). I am now on my 4th set of rear-shocks.
the broken fly-wheel (at 28000km) was the only fault that stopped the car on the roadside.
my car feels clearly best and most reliable since it passed about 55000-60000km.
    touch wood!

    thanks for all your replies,

    ethan

Broken flywheel? That is pretty unusual: did you find out what was the cause of that?
