...And that is what is both shameful and sad.
I used to buy 911s because in the day (60's and 70's) Porsche always strove to improve their cars on every level. I remember going to the dealer's parts counter to buy a cam rail or a chain tensioner only to find that Porsche had updated the part (for a 10 year old car) because it was a problem that needed and improvement. Of course not anymore. Porsche has landed where all others have. A colleague that runs an indy repair shop for Porsche for over 35 years laments the poor engineering, inferior parts (parts from India, China, Turkey, etc.) straight from the dealer's parts counter these days.

Ferrari is a proud and highly regarded marque and has been for decades. Sad to see that they are going down the path of taking the money and could not care less about the product they share with the world--- and what they charge for their cars, for me that's inexcusable.

I had the same issue and it took me more than 2 years, a lot of battery changes and the loss of all my hair to figure it out. I did even change the gas pedal...which made it a lot better but not completely gone.
On my car, one harness in the right rear wheel well...just under the liner was half melted. Not sure if it was friction or heat that caused it but this ended up being the root cause. Harness was fixed and it didn't even happen one more time ever since...even with a battery that is now more than 2 years old.

100% of us had this problem. Most of us have fixed this issue permanently upgrading to the anti gravity battery. No I don’t get paid for this but I wish they did pay me lol.
