    Hello,

    Haven't posted here for a while, but had an 85 TR a couple of years back. I sold it when I got married, but now I am back in the club again. This morning I took delivery of my '03 575M F1. 4300 miles. Of which 200 were added today. I can't believe how fast this car is!

    Looking forward to chatting with you guys again about all the benefits (and quirks) this car comes with.

    Beautiful ride! The 550/575 is definitely one of my favorite Ferraris. I'm glad to see you have the Scuderia shields, I rarely see those. Please give us your driving impressions, I'm sure they're amazing ones.

    I love the 575, especially with the shields and matching calipers. Have a blast driving the **** out of it.

    Its been said a million times on this board but ill say it once more.....

    I see that you live in Gainesville too, come over sometime and I will give you a ride.

    This was my first time driving with the F1 gearbox for an extended time (I tried it on a 355 once), and I gotta say it is pretty sweet. Yes, it does remove you a little bit from being directly connected to the car, but having the ability to do perfect up/down shifts every time with both hands on the steering wheel makes it worth it. Plus my left leg doesn't cramp up ;)

    I paid $180k, which I think was a fair price. She will depreciate like crazy over the next few years, but in the meantime I get to drive her year round (love Florida).

    Glad to hear you love the car, did you get it from FoCF? I haven't really seen many Ferraris in Gainesville. I see a Mondial on campus a lot, a Testarossa on a flatbed, and a black 550 passing on I75. I'll be on the look out for yours :cool:

    Whenever you're free, I'd gladly take up your offer to take a ride in the 575! I'll be going out of town on the 28th (semester ends) so whenever you're free, feel free to PM me.

    BTW- Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice 575. I'm not crazy about the red. But, damn, still gorgeous. Enjoy driving the **** outta it.

    There´s a whole Gainesville-Fchat department. Who wouldve guessed?

    Anyway, the car looks awesome. It is remarkable how much better the 575 looks over the 550, the 550 being the stunning beauty that she is. I love your garage as well. Very, well....Ferrari!

    The garage floor is covered with KiwiTile, http://www.kiwitile.com/. I am pretty happy with it, but my wife calls it the Lego floor. Just put it in a couple of days, so I can't vouch for its longetivity yet.

    One issue I have at the moment is that if I pull in at an angle, some of the plastic tile seperate and I have to snap them back together. Trying to figure out how I can make this stop happening.
