For me, it's exactly the opposite. Cannot help thinking about that one with a chocolate-havana interior, dark aluminium instead of carbon fibre, and two kid seats on the back Great pictures!!
Umm... Can I drive it? I have to say that it is the most beautiful 612 I have ever seen. A close friend bought his in blue with the same wheels, and is amazing, but this takes the cake! The interior is something out of Southern Cali! Fantastic! Well done! FORZA FERRARI -Jon
Definitely not! One for the rappers in my book, just needs the chromed wheels. A Ferrari shouldn't be trying so hard, it looks like a Corvette!! If you'd like to see a really classy 612, check out Peter Kalikow's - understated and elegant despite having over $1M spent on it... http://www.topgear.com/content/features/stories/2006/07/stories/10/1.html Nash seems like a really nice bloke so I won't be any ruder about his car than I already have been Love his 430 btw...
Interesting Plate for the Swiss edition GP of Berne Nasharti my compliments being swiss myself I am quite proud to see that the Swiss Edition is magnificient. Maybe one day I will get a ride [j/k]
Your two-toned Scaglietti is a most beautiful car. I also happened to like the solidly coloured one posted a few comments ago. When it comes to 612's I am colour blind. But the two-tone with that particular interior really stirred the passion for me. Does anyone have a view on the likelihood or desirablity of a factory issue 612 Scaglietti Cabriolet?
Nasharty: Your car is magnificent! Congratulations! What are your colours - exterior & interior? And tell me about those wheels! Thanks
Wow! Beautiful car. When I ordered my 612 in red the dealership thought I was crazy. They said it look like a firetruck. Well, it looks like a Ferrari! I will post some pics . Chris
I am late to this thread, but I just had to post. This is such a stunning work of art! Congratulations.
Funny that you would make fun of rappers and then, in the same post, reference Kalikow's 612 Kappa and - more specifically - how much money went into it; a detail, stereotypically, usually reserved "for the rappers"... LOL... Nasharty, perhaps I'm biased because I've liked the 612 since it's release, but your car is absolutely stunning...! Carbon ceramic brakes, leather and Alcantara interior, power Daytona seats, aluminum calipers, carbon fiber interior package - were options left off aside from shields...?!? This thread is the first I'm hearing of a "GP Edition" 612 and would love to learn more about it. Can you take a close-up picture of the plaque on the dash; I can't quite read it. Also, were there any options on the car you were allowed to or had a chance to choose yourself...? PS, thank you for posting a picture of the VIN plate.
Hi ! This car is absolutely wonderful ! I've reproduced it at 1/18th scale, I'll post the pictures soon ! I think it's one of the beautifulest car I've never seen !
It looks like it says "GP BERNA 1953/3". I don't know my historic F1 too well, but if this is a 612 GP, as part of Ferrari's 60th aniversary, with the 1953 Brno race being thier 3rd win for the team? Perhaps Berna is the Swiss (nasharty is from Switzerland) or Italian way to spell Brno. Just a guess. Awesome car.
I love that interior. Here is a stupid question, if it has an F1 gearbox, why does one of the pics show 3 pedals?
Haha, I just looked back at this picture. Look closely, it actually has only 2 pedals. It appears to have 3 because one is being reflected. Image Unavailable, Please Login
you're interiour is amazing! i saw one on the geneva autoshow and instantly fell in love, it looks so nice in that grey / white combo!
