Awesome. The F50 steering wheel is an amazing addition to the interior.

Looks like the shop hotwashed your gearbox and clutch housings? They look clean enough to eat off of...

I have a 3 which sounds the same under throttle, just wait until you hit a tunnel accelerating from 4-7k rpm. Chills!

After the major, the car performs so much smoother.

Oh yes... The capristo.. It makes the car scream!! The sound is spine tingling when going through a tunnel! Words can't describe how awesome the noise it makes. Nothing else comes close to this setup.

On a sidenote, my car used to have a hose clamp that opens the bypass valve permanently. After months of usage, I have noticed that the RPM fluctuates and drops to 500rpm (almost stalling) when decelerating, hot start, idling at traffic lights. Initially, I thought it might be the case of faulty MAF sensors causing the idle to hunt.

Today, I removed the hose clamp and lubricated the bypass valve. It is functioning properly and opens at 2800rpm in 1/2/4/5/6 and 4000rpm in 3rd gear. Surprisingly, the idle issue is resolved! No more stuttering.

I presume that the bypass valve is doing its job of maintaining backpressure in the engine? So it may not be a good thing to wire your bypass valve permanently open afterall..

Please share your experience on this.
