    I know many of you Ferrari owners and would-be owners are worried right now and some are probably wondering how we got into this mess. I just want to take responsibility. I bought a 550 a few months ago, my first Ferrari--and a stretch. I'm pretty sure, like the guy who was screwing in a light bulb at the moment of the big black-out, that I'm the one who brought markets down. So, apologies to one and all. My wife agrees.

    Was it a highly leveraged deal?

    Did you borrow 125% of the face value of the car and use the extra 25% to cover closing costs and a two week vacation in Maui? did someone doctor up the appraisal and convince the bank to lend you the money for 144 months?

    No really. Has your asset lost 50% of its value since you bought it and you're looking at repossession by the bank in the next couple days? Is the sheriff at your door? OMG, has panic hit the 550 market?

    Mass hysteria? Blood in the streets?

    Ya know, this is so marginally a Ferrari related thread, I'm moving it to P&R :D

    No-I only meant that as we seem to be in free fall, and I'm hanging on to my hat with both hands, I'm suffering a slight case of buyer's remorse. I love the car, it has no problems, and I got a good deal on it.
