Your car is going to be amazing. It looks like we might get the cars at the same time. How did you land on Verde Abetone? If I remember correctly, you previously had a British Racing Green GT2 RS correct? Eventually, that GT2 RS ended up at a dealer and I almost acquired it. I still wish I would have.
I need to finish my spec this week. I have pretty much settled on the same spec I posted earlier. My final hurdle is thread color. Long story, but on my 812, I somehow ended up with the wrong thread color. I had spec’d gray (0416) and wound up with silver (0318). Not the end of the world, but I really want to nail down the thread color better this time around. There’s obviously a ton of standard thread colors and I am struggling to decide which one to go with. Anyone have any thoughts on which thread mates best with Cuoio? Image Unavailable, Please Login
My GT2RS was Brewster Green with Aurum wheels. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don’t know if it’s best, but I went with a tone on tone stitch with Cuoio on my 488 and loved it, chose Cuoio Sella But in full disclosure I’m not the biggest fan of deviated stitching, so I’d wager most would go in the opposite direction Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I thought mine took forever. Let me tell you it's worth the wait, these cars are just beautiful and bad ass at the same time. Ferrari needs more of this going forward. I rev'd the engine a few times yesterday in my garage and holly ****.
My F12 has charcoal stitching. It is rather subtle, IMO. Perhaps less so if I didn't also have the charcoal inserts on the Daytona seats. Overall pleased with the look. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree and went old school and not a gram of carbon fiber (except of course the racing seats) in my SF with yellow calipers, painted shields and the yellow tachometer. But if you're going with silver wheels and don't do yellow calipers, I'd suggest silver calipers. Anir (Bundy) has that combo in his SF- very classy. It has tempted to paint mine silver.
Ha, right there with you ... being told that December might be the month. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love the current front brake assembly Ferrari. They are huge and mechanical. I used to think yellow was attractive until my wife said they look like bananas. Black or silver is classy. Keep it machine-like and not so much a billboard.
