My new baby is scheduled to be delivered, rip-roaring and screaming, out of the doors of the factory on or about 14 July.

    The countdown has begun!

    Dan,
    Mine is due July 15th.
Has the dealership given you a "status" #?
Mine is red 10 which means I believe the order is confirmed and cannot be changed.
As it progresses we can compare #'s!!!

I checked with FoS today--I am at stage 20. I hope that means it is on the boat like mw575's is. I can't fathom that it would so much different or that they have either car done already, or just his :(

    Dan,
I went from a 20 to a 70 (car being completed) to a 90 (on the ship) in a 2 week period. It seems Ferrari point system lags the actual stage at which the car is. I believe 91 is arrival in NJ 92 is inspection completed and 93 on the truck.
    Anticipation is exciting!

My sparkling TdF Blue F430 bounced out of the factory on 18 July and immediately caught the next boat (good timing!) and now the car is really 4-6 weeks away. For sure. Excepting hurricanes and US Customs in NJ of course.

    WooHoo!

    TdF Blue
    Natural leather interior
    Dk. Blue carpet and dash
    Standard F430 wheels
    Ceramic brakes
    Black calipers
    Spare tire
Fitted interior luggage for behind the seats

    Ha ha.

No, I don't think so. It is on the boat now, coming out of Genoa, and destined to dock in NJ sometime in the first week of August. We are expecting the car to be here in mid August now. :p

Are you driving yours, Marty? :D

I asked FoS about break-in and they said that there wasn't any recommended break-in period for them. But, in the great words of our esteemed leader, maybe I'm misremembering. Anyway, it's under warranty LET 'ER RIP!!!!!
