my bicolor Nuevo Rosso 458 is finally here

    I talked with my dealer today and he told me my 458 was delivered to the dealership. Quickly drove over there with my wife. And was speechless. Way way beyond what I expected. Wow is the best word for my expression.

    Anyway, here's a pic of my 458 at the dealer's warehouse today. Still has to go through dealer prep and clearbra install, so I'll have more pix soon when I get it home.

    Exterior color is Nuevo Rosso (triple layer rosso) with black roof. Interior is black with red stitching.

    Can't way to get it home!

    I wasn't sure about these bicolour options when I 1st saw them on the net but recently I saw a bicolour white 458 in the flesh and it looked amazing!! :D:D:D

    Wow, thank you for all the nice messages. Much appreciated.

    Truth be told, my dealer played a huge role in helping me figure out the colors and options to get the car to what it looks like. Luckily, the sales manager at my dealer is also a photographer and his skills there helped me figure this out.

    Once I get the car, will post some interior pix as well as better pix from a better camera than my iPhone.

    Do they give you a price break when you order both triple layer paint and different color roof, or do you pay full price for both options?

    thanks again for all the kind words.

    Tonza - in terms of getting a break for getting triple layer paint and bicolor, yes, there is a "price break."

    Triple layer paint is $28K alone.

    Bicolor is $15K alone.

    Together they told me it would $33K, so a $10K "savings" :)

    Maximus - getting car tomorrow/Saturday and will post some interior pics then.

    Did all of the carbon options for the interior (including sill covers). But no exterior carbon. All black interior with red stitching. Race seats with red stripe in the middle up the seat. And red cavallino at the head part of the seat.

    Other options include rear camera, AFS lighting, front lift, ipod, had front grille, rear diffuser nero to match roof. Painted sills same color as wheels (dark grey).

    But didnt do front or back sensors, cruise control, super HiFi, shields. I personally didnt like the shields with this combo. It looked too "busy" to me.

    More pix as soon as I can get it home :)

    Very deluxe looking version with the bi-color and special paint color plus the contrast color of the sport sills. Nice to see you got the painted sport wheels to. That is some fancy 458 you built there. Look forward to seeing the interior views as well. Thanks for sharing here.
