http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150573383476#description So, not very specific on the description but says 'all 355 issues resolved'. In the Q&A section there's a little more on the headers but still not very specific. 7 owners. I'm not sure how you could pull up detailed service records for this car. Anyone familiar with this particular 355? I'm mostly concerned about valves and valve guides which aren't mentioned anywhere. At least there's talk of cam belts and header repairs. Also, wondering if anyone has contacts for a good quality radiator for this? Work would be done by myself.
7 owners sounds like a lot to me too and I don't care what a previous owner says...there will always be a couple of things overlooked that will be a problem for the next owner (intentionally or not).
I've never understood why the number of owners matters. The dash has some strange stitching. Never seen one like it.
Seven owners does matter in my opinion because each owner took posesion of the vehicle and tried to have most fun with it without servicing it and then flipped it at a reasonable price. None of them probably thought that by servicing the car, they will get their money out of it and have an easier time selling it. I saw the ad and it seems to me that you need to do a complete service on the car. Replacing the leather on the dash is nothing compared to the 50 or 60K service. Put aside 10K to bring this car up to specs. I would.
The thing that would bother me the most (and I agree 7 owners is troubling) is the fact that it looks as though it was leased or a rental for awhile. That can't be good.
Half of those transfers look like auto broker transactions, not ownership transfers. I figure the car has had maybe 3-4 real owners. It was also leased for a time. Nothing I'd be afraid of there.

Seller has 80% positive feedback on eBay...not that good. Beware. Check out the neg feedback still on there.
I agree, 7 owners isn't what you want to hear. I got a PM that has convinced me this isn't something we should be interested in. Thanks for all the input.
