I just learned that my California now has moved to production status '70 - testing'! Does anyone have any experience around how much longer it will likely take be before it arrives at my dealer in the US?

I'm starting to feel like a kid on Christmas eve...:)

That's awesome . I remember when I ordered my Porsche Carrera S. I actually was able to track the ship the car was on to long beach harbor: ). These are good times.

I don't have a useful reply - sorry - just wanted to say congratulations. I can only imagine how you feel. How did you spec it out?

Damn it. Why doesn't anybody give me information on my 225k order?
Shaw, when did you order yours? What were you told?
I ordered mine last September and was told that it would be a March build.
That's next month and I haven't gotten any info at all!

Based on my experience you have between 25 and 35 days before it gets to your dealer. There is instrumentation testing, road testing, pre-shipment inspection, corrections, shipping prep, shipping, customs, FNA inspection, window sticker creation (FNA) and shipping to your dealer.

However, you can save 2+ weeks if you want to fly it (not too late).

Was there a January build for the California?

Thanks to all for your answers and interest. Chad, your estimate of 25-35 more days feels right. Ray, I would call your dealer and ask him for the current status of production for your car. He has access to this info, and there isn't any reason he isn't providing it to you. My config was submitted in November, went to order status '10 Red - no changes' quickly thereafter. It then moved to 'status 20 - production' in January. My dealer has been extremely forthcoming in providing this info, so your dealer should be doing them same.

McCoy, as far as my config goes, I selected the following:

    TDF blue exterior
Sabbia interior with contrasting blue scuro stitching
    Diamond stitching on the seats
    Blue scuro carpets
    Carbon steering wheels with LEDS
    Shields
    Yellow calipers
    20" rims
    Upgraded premium sound system
    Backup camera
    Front parking sensors

I'm indeed excited knowing that my nearly 2 year wait is just about over. I'm glad there is a forum like Fchat where I can share my excitement and anticipation with other like-minded individuals from the Ferrari community!

Just saw a TDF Cali yesterday. The car was stunning. The interior was beige(tan) and was sporting the standard wheels.

I was looking at some of the email from my dealer and mine was ordered in early August. It was on the test track in early November and delivered December 5 although I paid the expedite fee to get it flown over. It cleared Customs Dec 2 and only three days to delivery!

How many steering wheels did you specify? My kids would love one in each of the back seats! ;)

Man, that sounds beautiful! I can't wait to see pics. I eventually ordered Silverstone and was on the fence for a while about TDF.

I just found out that I am in status 20. I ordered in October. Does anybody know what status 20 is?

Also, keep in mind that the system updater is not automatic. There can be a lag between updates. So a current status of 70 can actually be 80 if modis is not updated in a timely manner.

Chassis tagged and selected, body painted. Waiting for the two to link up in the assembly building.
