I can only control height which basically allows me to control pre-load on the spring as well.

The picture above is under heavy braking from about 125-130 to 40 into turn 3 at Brainerd International which is about -1.3G's on the data logger.

Actually the bracket that holds the bearings gets removed from the side of the transmission case. You need to remove it and then the bearings can be pressed out. There is a race holding the bearings in place, which is pressed into the bracket, and has a lip on it. When you go to put the new bearings in, make sure you have the lip on the race facing the outside.

You are correct Erine...its the part with the silicon gasket (of which I currently have a small leak so its coming off again this weekend). So once again the wise folks on the left coast come though. I heated the whole part in an oven to make it easier to push the bearing back in which I froze in the freezer. Yeah my wife was happy with me during this whole ordeal.

Erine I am going to try to write up what I did from my notes here this weekend and next week then send it to you so you and Billy Bob can add to it or correct my screwup as usual.

I see you have have found the joys of baking. FBB and I have been using a toaster oven to heat the bearings up before we put them on. Set to 350deg and bake for 10 minutes, remove toasty bearing from oven, and slide it on the shaft. Easy as pie :D
