Congrats Bee Jay, you definitely are among the most deserving of this special experience. May you enjoy the fruits of your passion and labor in good health! Ken
Great post, great thread, great car and the look of joy on your faces Me thinks enzo is looking down and smiling especially as there is no power steering on 348 - the real thing... ENJOY...
+1 I just read this thread. Great pics, great posts. Congrats! I'll bet you are still floating up on the clouds! Take care. JIM
Late to this thread...but congrats Bee Jay!!! Same frame of mind here, been my dream since I was a little tike playing with Matchboxes, now I find myself at 1:am dusting it in the garage!!! And same issues as mentioned here...yes, I've been stuck at the gas station figuring out plan B to open the gas cap, yes some co-workers congratulate me, others are jealous. Now don't be afraid to put miles on her, the more the merrier And when you get stuck, do a search on Fchat. If you can't find your answer, post a question. Ferrarichat really has been the difference between a flawless ownership experience and a nightmare. Lots of experienced owners online here who graciously answer questions... enjoy!
I just had the most incredible weekend. My birthday party was a huge sucess. My Mom, two of my sisters, and my son and daughter were all here for my birthday. A good friend showed up all the way from Maryland, my cousins from LA surprised me, most of my church and most of my co-workers showed up. Everyone, and I mean everyone wanted to go to the garage to see the Ferrari. The Ferrari was the hit of my party. The food was great, I mean really phenomenal, but the Ferrari had everyone freaked, especially all high school teens. The party was supposed to be about me, but I shared the spotlight with my 348. Here we are in our Hawaiin Garb, (it was a Hawaii 5-0h theme) and me with my brotherhood cap. Check out my cake. Bee Jay Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Happy Bday Bee Jay! You are glowing with happiness! I love to see that!!!!!! Let me know what you would like for your Bday! :Shift knob:
I got a shift knob. I guess I need to take pictures of the interior. Shift knob, alloy pedals, and a working cd player, all included with the car. I got the window accelerator from Daniel, and I bought a 1" inch extender from him for the steering wheel. I haven't figured out how to install the accelerator yet, but man, what a difference the 1" extender makes. My knees are free of the steering wheel now, and the driver comfort is much, much better. I could use a watch.....or a flag, or some 355 wheels. Does anyone make a decent seat cover for our cars. I'd like to put something on the drivers side to protect my leather. When is PAP here? Bee Jay
I can't do a watch or the wheels I thought I had more flags, but apparently I sent them all out. I think I accidentally sent goth 4 of them and he is selling them on the side and making money on em I don't believe I sent out that many, but I can't find the rest of them.
Hey Chris! I will gladly send the flag to a worthy owner . BTW out of the ten flags you sent me, none were 'Nero'
Ten flags?!. I'm not to proud to beg. Baby please, please baby, baby please.I don't care what color. Hey Chris, let's make gang color head wraps with them, and visit Crenshaw with our tops off. Oops, yours doesn't come off does it? You can ride with me on the west side, I'll ride with you on the east side. Bee Jay
Happy B'day for the other day good buddy!! I hope you had a fantastic day with the family and the Ferrari. I will be there on the 8th of September. Hadley is picking me up from the airport in his 348 Spider. Top down in LA, in a Ferrari!! Woooo hoooooo!! How cool is that!!
No, he didn't. I would love to meet him though. What is the farthest north he's comming? Let's talk about him like he's not listening. Bee Jay
I live in Santa Barbara County, in a small town called Lompoc. Halfway to LA is Ventura. Can you get up there? What is your agenda? Do you have VHS and DVD. I got some cool rocket stuff for your souvinier bag. (I'm a mad Rocket Scientist). If you make it all the way up here, I'll take you out to the launch sites. Just north of here in San Semian is the Hearst Castle. Every tourist to the cental coast of Cali. should see that. It's right up there with the Peterson museum. Get me your itinerrary so I can rendezvous. What are the Ferrirchat.com awards? Will you be here for the Monterey Historics? The Italiano Concours is August 17 in Monterey. Now that is to die for. More Ferraris than you can shake a stick at. My first year as a Ferrari owner. Bee Jay
