Hello everyone, I have enjoyed this fantastic web forum since I had my first Corvette about 4 years ago and worked as a Corvette mechanic in college. I have also found it to be a great place to get in touch with people I have met in the past. In the past year I was found out by a group of people in Corvette Racing that have been looking for the right profile to train and groom into the next Le Mans driver. We are commited to making this happen together and have been working hard to make the future bright. I'm bringing this up for two reasons. One: I thought my new car buddies would get a kick out of it. Two: Recently, my primary investor has "flaked" in a very poor business manner on us for the 2008 season. While the legal recourse is inevitable that does little for my race year and athletic growth. (Sidebar) The big deal recently all went south at the NCRS Florida Winter Regional Corvette Car Show. I thought it was humorous that my big business deal went away in the heart of Corvettes. So, I present to all of you fellow racers my dillema in the hope that one of you might know of a business or people/person that would benefit from ALMS exposure, from being in the inner circles of world business and from being associated with a potentially winning driver such as myself. The business connections alone are well worth the price of admission. Let me know what you think. PS- If this were not to work out, I'm considering starting a Corvette dealership. Does anyone know how much it would cost to start one up?
With all that vintage racing experience I'm sure you'll do just fine. And have you considered Formula 1? ALMS is beneath you man, with your talent you should be in F1.
Congrates buddy! This best post ever, and I am sure the future of racing car driving would benfit from a young go getter such as yourself! I am writing this 2 you for a couple of resons..I have playing alot of Grand Trismo Racing 3 and I am super good, so i thought i too would try my hand at Seabring...And 2 I think my car buddies would get a kick out of it...I also have a long histroy with racing vintage vettes and the such..so anyone looking to sponsor a sponsor you know how to get ahold of me!
Talk about your bad timing! I'm workin this croud buddy, please take your crying for money ways to another forum. Unless you get more sponsorship money rolling in than you need to build a small block chevy motor, then I'll gladly share revenue streams with you. I do have to say, my parade driving experience, plus a few documented high speed runs (by the local LEO) show my mad skilz that will likely pull the big money to my thread.
