What can spoil a great afternoon blast in our Dino and 328 GTS? A women in a Mercedes ML, complete with rear mounted spare wheel and bull bar!

Apparently she had overshot of choice of parking space and had an inability to use her mirrors, eyes and ears. She engaged reverse and shot back about 6ft into the front of my Dino.....crunch.........I was stationary at the time and had our 328 behind me so unable to reverse quickly out of her path. The fact my hand was welded to the horn for a continous blast didn't seem to deter her either. Not a good day!!!!!!!!!

When I can suss how to upload pictures with my post I'll show you the damage.........

It makes me cringe to hear that about such a good looking car. Hopefully the repairs will restore it to its former glory.

Oh God... this is really awful news Phil. Hope you get her straightened out and as good as new soon. Just been there and got the t-shirt, so I know what you are going through...

I just love the Dino. Pure automotive artwork. Good luck!

Thanks for the sympathy, I'm still gutted today. Too right I shall be claiming from her insurance. In between my shouting and swearing I got her to sign an admission of guilt at the scene! Just awaiting her full policy details.....otherwise I'll unlease the solicitors on her.

I had a full sized truck slam be broadside, caving the driver's door and spinning us. My gf was amazed I kept my temper, crawled from the car, tapped on the driver's window saying......"I'll need your papers, and the next several weeks of your allowance....."

sorry to hear about the accident.

I keep one of those throw away cameras in each of my cars. If I ever get into an accident, I'll just take pics of everything, including the driver even if it means blocking the whole road.

(Unless its mu fault of course.)
