Congrats! I was driving around seeing all the kids getting ready for prom yesterday. It was sort of sad seeing how only 6 years ago I was having mine.

I'm almost shocked at how the proms in the U.S. and over seas are identical. For some reason I just didn't picture it the same way. Wierd.

The UK and USA share a lot of good things and i love the idea of the prom but it is only the last 4-5 years that the UK have really picked up on the idea.

    All right, here's some pictures.

Prom was way fun, about a month before, I had planned on asking some girl on a date, doing the whole dinner for two thing, etc. Then my friend Kristen asked me if I wanted to go with her in a big group. I am so glad that I went in the group, everything just seemed to be louder, more fun and more relaxing in general. Definitley glad I did that instead of the one-on-one date. Maybe next year. There were no "explicts", I left my camera in the car during the parties.... :D

    Anyways.....

    1) Kristen and I
    2) my friends Ryan, Nick, Andrea, Hadley, Kristen, and of course, me.
    3) Me, my friend Anna, Ryan, Chelsea and Nick. (Nick looks about 7'3 in this picture)
    4) My friends Steven, Christina, Mike, Arianna, Kristen, Ryan and Andrea, and me.

Your daughter and her friends look really young. (And so cute!) They aren't seniors, are they?

My prom was so boring we left early and watched the Simpsons. It was a total waste of a dress.
