just got my car working again with the capristo level 3....damm that sounds so sweet. I drove it to a party about an hour each way and my head is still ringing. I think it might be just slightly too loud but i dont care. the sound about 6k rpm is simply bliss.....

No vid or audio is gonna do that. You'll have to hear it in person what a sound the 355 makes with a Capristo at 8500rpm.

It may make your ears bleed...but it's the best therapy for your body!

Here is a sample prescription typically written by Ferrari ENT's:

Rx: 355 with Capristo (in any level)
    Disp: 8500 RPM
Sig: @ every shift QID until ear bleeds

    Hahahaha....;)

Glad to hear you car is working again - hopefully - and glad you are happy with the Capristo - hopefully.

Might you then be slightly too old??? lol :)

    Enjoy.

There is no such thing as too loud, it's a Ferrari! If you really want to go deaf, find a single-lane tunnel (Marin Headlands, just north of Golden Gate Bridge, one-way only, about 10-12 feet wide). Just make sure the park rangers don't hear you, they feel it disturbs the local harmonic balance of wildlife, as well as deeming it unsafe. Enjoy the sound,
but remember in most states earplugs would be illegal to drive with. Maybe try some flesh-colored ones?

yeah i think its going to be too soft for my taste. I really wish they made a level 2.5 or something. The 3 is perfect if it was about 5 or 10 decibels lower.

haha im only 24. I hope im not old. I just dont enjoy having a headache for 2 days after driving....although its the sweetest headache ever!

ill get some low profile ones like the motorcycle guys wear. I was maybe thinking some cotton or something:)

level 3 is great its not like I drive the car daily. Im really not doubting the decision, but it needs to be tweaked for spyders:) like i said a level 2.5 would be perfect.

    +1 very true........ level 1 is for hairdressers.............that is why I went with level 1..... ;) :D

But seriously................ there are alot of 355 owners who do not even drive their cars, for fear of the odometer turning............ so a level 10 would suit them perfectly..... they can then brag about how their loud exhaust is........... for 50 miles a month....
