    Hi everyone,

I just wanted to give a quick review of my experiences with both dealerships, albeit in different ways. Sorry for sloppy writing, I'm cranking this out in about five minutes.

In August I purchased my first Ferrari, an 09 scud from Ferrari of Tampa. Dealing with the sales person was a slow process; calling over and over, trying to get service records, trying to get the ball rolling. Eventually I got the car (at a very fair price by the way), and had it shipped to California. It shows up dirty, with I think a hundred+ more miles than advertised, the radio was hanging out of the console, its radio card was missing, and the emissions sticker was missing from the engine bay! Did I mention it took me 4-6 weeks to get the title from them? I had to call them and make a big stink and then they sent it right away.

I called about the radio card; sure they'll find it and call me back! No call back. Try again, same thing, no call back. I call about the missing emissions sticker, sure they'll get info and call me back! No call back. Rinse and repeat. Oh, the radio wasn't hanging out when we sent it to you! Ok sure, it just popped out on its own? Or maybe since they didn't have the radio card, they had to pull it because the car was dead and didn't properly install it back.

To be clear, dealing with Ferrari of Tampa was the worst dealership experience I've ever had. They were completely unprofessional, did not provide any post sales support and I'm not sure they appreciated the business. I was unable to legally register the scud in california because they screwed me over with the emissions sticker and made no attempt to even help.

On the flip side, Ferrari of Silicon Valley was very helpful in getting my emissions sticker, helping me find a smog shop and answering other questions regarding the car. They didn't even sell me the scud, yet were much more willing to help get me going in the right direction. I'm probably going to buy a nice bottle of wine and deliver it to the nice woman in parts, not to mention give them my business in the future when I decide to move up to a 458 or the next generation.

I'm not sure if this is helpful to anybody, but I would be careful when dealing with Ferrari of Tampa. Never again for me.

    Thanks,
    Morgan
