Thanks a lot - very excited. I think the total time was 4 weeks from start of the first pic where it was the framework and partial body panels and the white primer. I think they're just moving the line fast to catch up the back log - I'm sure yours must be almost there to completion too! Let us know once yours is done too. Want to see your color!
Noel, painted picture is in thread "line moving". Got the painted picture Thursday. You can see the metallic color where the light hits it.
Yes, it is triple. The difference between Fuji and Italia is there is more of a gold/cream in t he Italia versus more silver in Fuji Bianco. You can really see the difference when you hold the samples next to each other. Getting yours in December is great....I am hoping for early January, now.
You're right I bet that color is awesome - so just for future reference if I ever wanted the triple paint is that color specific or can I get the triple in any color and pay the upgrade? Thanks,
My guess is that for a price they will paint it any color. I know, for instance, they will even do a triple strata in matte for $40k. The triple stratas that I am aware of that are the 25k upgrade are a couple of reds, black, yellow, and the bianco italia and fuji.
