Hi, My 1st F just a tad before turning 40. Black F12 with race seats, lift and some carbon parts. It is rather fast on the Autobahn. Usually I reach 200mph each drive. When traffic is light I reach like 212mph. Still wait for empty road ahead. Will bring it to F1 track in Spa Franchorchamps and of course famous Nordschleife Best Stefan Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congrats! A mean looking machine... Nice to see you have proved that the F12 goes well over 200 mph!! ;-)
CONGRATS...I likewise bought myself a black Ferrari for my 40th (it was a 458)...car looks amazing!! My F12 should arrive any day now...keep the pix coming!
No, speedo values. My performance box still sits in my race car that I have not seen for 8 months now :-( Have seen a verified 345kph GPS in a frensh magazine test. There are pics of the tacho reading 359kph, which I asume comes close to 345 GPS. The F speedos dont seem to be that far of like Porsche speedos.
More detailer pics. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yep...I already booked my detailer for when the car arrives...the paint on my 458 was a pure embarrassment!! I still can't believe how poor the quality is from such a storied brand.
Try to have the dealer detailer skipped. Nothing good on those. My paint quality is very good. there is only like 1 or 2 µ difference in thickness of the paint over the whole car. Very impressive.
Ferrari speedometers were notoriously inaccurate in the '70s, '80s, and '90s - I imagine they're a bit better these days. Your F12 is stunning - congratulations! Can you share with us the serial number?
heck who cares how accurate the speedo is what a way to wake up in the morning with a 200 MPH drive to work,,.. would love to have a place to run like that...... here in Virginia probably get life in prison for 200MPH.....
Experienced amazing months with the F12. After difficult start at F1 track Hockenheimring due to a defect of the ABS sensor the car keeps going strong ever since Went to the Nuerburgring Nordschleife with a friend and did 3 laps in public traffic. Wow. Then off to Spa Franchorchamps for a whole track day. This was heaven on earth. Did an F12-only track day by Ferrari on the Nordschleife a couple of Weeks later. Like 40 F12 on the track, with no other cars. Wow. Met Sebastian Vettel with a couple of other Ferraristi and had a chat with him. Cool guy. Did 351kph on the Autobahn with my brother as passenger. Was funny. Car is absolutely stable. 2 days ago was on the Nordschleife again. Amazing weather and soft traffic. I humiliated about everything I came across. A couple of McLaren, GT3 RSs, Ruf Turbo R, Nissan GT-R, Race e46 GT3, and so on. Only a very strong 964 turbo with a decent driver pushed hard, so I let him pass because I did not want to be pushed off the track. He made like a couple of seconds on me, though I would have been faster on the straights, he was way faster in the tight corners. In the end it is all about the driver. But I think the F12 allows normal intermediate hobby drivers to be fast and safe. Only had one drift exiting Ex-Muehle corner in Race mode. Absolutely neutral and easy to handle but so much fun nevertheless. Car is completely in the air with all 4 wheels at 3 points of the track. It lands on all 4 wheels and makes me feel very comfortable. The long uphill part after Bergwerk is mind blowing. I never had to lift with my other slower race cars. With the F12 I started to not only lift but also did break in the beginning. So funny. Endless ooomph. There are 3 speed limits of 250kph and 200kph on the Nordschleife since a race car went airborne and killed one spectator behind the FIA fence. Nevertheless I went WOT for like the first 90% of the long straight Doettinger Hoehe. Shifted into 7th and speedo showed 310kph (194mph) ... so I let the throttle go a bit. Car still pulled strong at this speed though it is going uphill quite a bit. More later... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you thank you for posting this. This was great reading and I can only imagine living this! The F12 really is quite some car!
