my friend in Munich has a F12 we take it out and go 330kph sustained with out a care in the world(except passing people who are going 120kph). Its the first Ferrari I have ever been impressed with as far as power goes, My Enzo got weak at 175mph-very disappointing. Great car otherwise.
Thanks ) Great to be back, was a long road. My back got so bad i sold my Enzo because i couldn't walk to the garage to see it let alone drive it. I got depressed and sold it-stupid. I'm pretty good now considering 5 operations and 4-5 years of recovery after. A couple years ago I bought a Aventador-drove it 200 miles in ~2 years, i never saw more plastic in my life. the seat belts in my Jetta are nicer(they are better quality nylon). Pretty bad IMO. My friend in Munich has always had a Ferrari or 2, He got a F12 about 16 months ago, i was there when it was delivered to a restaurant one night. He asked if I wanted to drive it home, I drove the X5. I drove the F12 a couple days later. Wow!! We were driving between Augsburg and Munich-straight shot, no traffic at night. I'm sold. Done with plastic cars. I'm keeping my Lambos(not plastic) and at some point adding a F12 to the line up. hope everyone is well. best eric

Great to hear you're doing better. Wish you luck with your F12! Still have the Diablo GTR's? Awesome...keep it coming
Yes I have both GTR's and the SE 30, I kept them and sold the Enzo(not my best move). I kept 1 of the 2 Countach's(another bad move). overall i'm god but made a couple mistakes along the way. Still have the Aventador so 5 Lambos all together. I just dont like the plastic construction now, and the new $$ people walk blindly into that junk and love it, sure they are super fast, comfortable-everything a Lambo shouldn't be. Not my bag. :-(( twice... A F12 is a good plan, ive been driving my 97 S600 Benz the 2 door big coupe the past 2 years. I dont drive much maybe 1000 miles a year in Beverly Hills(i live here full time, left Vegas). I have a Rolls Drophead that i drive 300 miles/year. i'm tired of the Benz, Rols is not a plan for a daily car, Jetta was lemoned so a F12 makes sense ;-) I might drive more. actually i've been spending lots of time in Europe and that's a great spot for a F12. I'm not sure if i'm buying one there or America. That's the real question.
i go to Munchen 2-3X a year, i had all my back operations there, along the way i made many friends there since 06. i'm very happy to meet up with anyone next trip. I stay at my friends flat at Munich Pasing or Hauptbahnhof in Sofitel-which is a disaster now, thats another topic ugh!!! i will be there in March, i am going to Asia for 2-3 months starting in Oct, I'm not going to Hong Kong/Tokyo/Manila with a car. I mention this because i'm not sure of my F12 plan, i can wait for a new one, found one i like now that a great price(late 14 with 1000 miles on it in America) or could grab one in Europe for a hair less. I'm going to drive the car a lot and am not looking for a garage queen or concourse car. I dont like used cars but can stand a 1K mile car. any thoughts i'm keen to hear, thanks in advance.
What about the Bayrischer Hof or Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski? If you are looking for a F12 in Munich I would recommend the Ferrari dealer Saggio München: Saggio München - Autohaus Saggio München | Würzburg
Thanks I will check with them, i'm 50/50 on where to buy a car. I'm going to Asia so if i buy one today it gets parked for 2-3 months in 3 weeks. i want one for spring/summer in Europe next year, i need to sort it out. From what i seen Europe seem a little cheaper than America for F12's. I dont care about a american car-makes zero difference to me. i'd like to own a car in Europe. Hotel talk: I just spent almost 2 weeks at Kempinski in Budapest the are great properties. The one in Munchen is not my favorite location. Maximilianstraße is great but its a walk to anything late at night, sometimes i stay up late for biz and like to walk over to a train station(instead of room service all the time). Bayrischer Hof is great I stay there sometimes. I usually dont keep a car in Munchen so i like to be in walking distance of a few things. When i do keep a car then don't matter where i stay. the hotels i stay at have car rental with in walking distance. easy to pick up and leave. Best Eric
