Yes, it looks good when it is finished (but I suppose that is a matter of opinion) but the F40 style is just not for me. It's a bit too flashy. Here is the Ebay ad I made for it....

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4618139291&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:US:1

if that doesn't show up it is ebay item number 4618139291

It runs great but just no umphhhh ... well little to no umpphhh. I actually get up and go pretty well with it and have kept up or been ahead of most other drivers who want to (cautiously) play a little on the freeway. It fools most everyone but I tell them, in the end, that it is a fake.

Anywho ... I thought I would post this because I mentioned it here before I got it and now when I am getting rid of it.

You'll see .. there is also a Lambo replica for sale. Mine will sell for well over 10k I bet. I'll bet I get as many "nice car" comments as any of you in a real one. it is afun car and it brings smiles to peoples faces as you drive by. I need to go get in it and bring some papers to the office...... it is always an experience driving that car, lots of fun!

Anyone remmber that uber replica of the F40 that was built from the ground up that was even faster than the original? It was virtually identical. I believe it cost like 250K to make.

I like the pics, especially the ones in front of Bridgeport. I should go take some pictures of my cars down there.

Don't take it personally (and to your credit you don't seem to), but I don't care for the car.

Anyone with a print of an expensive original hanging on a wall in their home should not give him any crap. It's a $10K project car from an enthusiast.

I am not a fan of replicas but you have done a great job on what you set out for. It really does look better than i thought it would.
And also your pictures in your ebay ad are better than 99% of the stuff I see on ebay. Good for you

You have heard all of these flames before and I give you credit. I didn't think you would sell it so soon. Will you be getting a real F-car? If I had the money I would buy it.

Thanks for the nice comments guys :)

I have worked hard on putting this thing together well. Certainly it is not perfect but it does look good for what it is. Depending what I get for it I might buy onther one to work on and sell it for more than I bought it for .. then eventually have enough to buy a real 308 or 512TR. But realisticaly I will be buying maybe a different kind of replica .. one that is not so flashy.

Ya know..it really doesn't look half bad! Compaired to the other so called "replica's" which I have seen on ebay and elsewhere, you have a nice one. Good luck with the sale.
