You guys have no friggin idea sometimes. :rolleyes:we are all in trouble when you quote the p
well that's really good then, isn't it? thank goodness you're not as stupid as you look after all. *cough*
Hang on a minute, unless you've got a real fat sheila in the back, the weight transfer is always going to go to the front under braking. Yet to see the back of a car squat under braking. Sure, playing around with bias can make a car brake more evenly and better but essentially, the weight transfers to the front.
PP, coming from everyday cars to a 430 on the track IS a big difference for the those who have not experienced the sensation (myself included). Not all of us have had Fcars for the last 20 yrs and can be all "oh it's normal" you know............................ geez man cut us some slack here!
hey listen smarty pants...don't try and backpeddle from your stupid comment. you implied that part of the reason for the "amazing" braking was the ceramics...if it makes you feel warm and fuzzy to now make out that's not what you meant, then good for you.
Hey, read your post...."weight tranfer makes the biggest single difference in retardation". Maybe you were talking about another form of retardation than braking forces. Next time I'm at the track, I'll try the fat sheila theory.
yes...different cars manage weight transfer in different ways. however they do all, indeed, transfer the weight to the front. you go to the top of the class *sigh*
sure Steve, use your backseat advantage, see if I care ya bastard no backseat anymore but I may try the old cement bag in the boot behind the engine when Scud and I go to the track next time, the 430 ain't got a boot this all reminds me of the reasons for anti-dive geometry Merc and a few others tried but I think removed ???????? I'm too lazy to google the anti-dive geometry angle, anyone remember who did what and if it was worth the effort ? I'm sure JA or Scott or Carl will remember without googling
hold it!! I caught you on the GT4 being the first V8 road car and these boys don't realise you're deliberately winding them up, you sneak
You know when you are a car nerd when you argue like you guys are now about how a car stops. It makes for a funny read.
