Maybe this in your user manual If you make a mistake, turn the key to position 0 and repeat the operation from step 1. 1) Read the 5-digit electronic code found on the CODE CARD. 2) Turn the ignition key to position II: at this point, the CODE and OBD warning lights stay on. 3) Push and hold down the accelerator pedal. After approximately 8 seconds, the OBD warning light will go off. Release the accelerator pedal and get ready to count the number of times the OBD warning light fl ashes. 4) Wait until the number of fl ashes is equal to the fi rst digit of your CODE CARD, then push and hold down the accelerator pedal until the OBD warning light goes off after about 4 seconds, then release the accelerator pedal. 5) The OBD warning light starts fl ashing again. When the number of fl ashes is equal to the second digit of your CODE CARD, push and hold down the accelerator pedal. 6) Proceed in the same manner for the remaining digits in the code on the CODE CARD. 7) When the last digit has been entered, hold the accelerator pedal down. The OBD warning light illuminates for 4 seconds and then goes off; release the accelerator pedal. 8) When the OBD warning light fl ashes fast (for about 4 seconds) it confi rms that the procedure has been carried out correctly. 9) Proceed with starting the engine by pressing the ENGINE START button on the steering wheel. If the OBD warning light remains on, turn the key to position 0 and repeat the procedure from step 1. This procedure can be repeated an unlimited number of times. After an emergency start, it is advisable to contact your Authorized Ferrari Dealer as the emergency starting procedure must be carried out each time the vehicle is started. Electronic alarm system
Lock symbol means that the imobilizer is active and/or sees a fault. Try to reset the imobilizer with a scan tool, first.
I am having sort of the same problem with my 360, Drive somewhere to eat, come back out and turn the key and nothing. Engine does not turn over at all. I re-set the alarm and turn it off and press the brake pedal hard and usually it starts. When I get back home it starts perfectly. Cold starts works every time. Going to try some of the suggestions above. Also, I installed a new starter relay and every was fine for a while.
Different problem entirely....Brake pedal switch or starter solenoid issue. Both very common with the 360.

Based on my experience, unless you bought the car new, very few people have the CODE CARD. I did not get the CODE CARD when I bought my 430 used. In fact I had never even heard of the CODE CARD.
Maybe start a new thread for this issue. If you have to push the pedal hard there is something wrong. There should be around a 4mm gap between the back of your brake pedal arm and the brake pedal electrical switch plunger (with the brake pedal pushed normally to the floor). Either there is something wrong with your pedal switch, your switch adjustment or your brake hydraulic system. Check to see if the pedal switch has 4 pins on it. There are different adjustment procedures for different switch types.
My switch is a 4 pin switch. What would be the adjustment procedure for this switch? What's really weird, it only happens after I shut it off. When I drive it home, it starts every time!!! By the way, hope you know your are my electrical hero!!!!!
Try this procedure, Mel: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/149060309/ Note that the plunger has quite few clickstops. Pull hard on the plunger to extend it fully. Feeler gauges will be required (or something with a similar thickness to the WSM specs) I have been told by the experts that there can be problems with the brake hydraulics (master cylinder?) causing not enough movement in the brake pedal.... I'll try and find the message thread relating to this. (EDIT) Check the clearance between the brake pedal switch and the brake pedal when the car is working normally. If you have problems, recheck the clearance to see if it has changed. This might tell you if you have hydraulic issues.
Is the engine code card also know as the key code card or something different ? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I THINK Engine Code Card is the same as the key code card. I am looking at my Code Card and it has a picture of a key along with an electronic code and mechanical code. But I defer to others who are wiser than me.
