Just wanted to share this old photo I came across that I took eight years ago. When I first got my 348 I had that typical foam hanging down that did not look that pretty at all. My shop that I use, the owner had a great idea. (IMO) He did a CAD drawing of the panel section, sent it out and had polished stainless steel cut out. Then he etched the logo into the panel. The heat insulation is still in place under the stainless, never had a problem, ever of it getting hot. Came out great.......just wanted to share. Missing my 348.

He might have saved the CAD program that he did. Not sure. It was not that expensive either. The hard part was done and paid for, it was the CAD program. Rich Martsolf owner. Auto Illusions (412) 264-2303. Again he did this 7 to 8 years ago. Good Luck.

It looks great! The font of "Ferrari" is a bit off, just a minor detail I noticed. Thanks for posting!

I noticed that too. Totally different font (look at the 'a').

I don't know where I developed this sensitivity to these things. The font on the replacement HVAC panels that are widely used is also completely different from the factory one. Drives me insane.
