I wholeheartedly agree! On the first weekend that he raced the XJS at Road America he was having problems IIRC he was having major problems with the front calipers, he wound up not qualifying. Hence, he started 43rd of 43 cars. Of course in the opening laps he was passing slower the cars 3 to 4 a lap, but his furious pace continued throughout the race, he finished in third place biting at the asses of the factory turbo Pcars. If there were one or two more laps he would have surely won, he was clearly much faster! A true master, right up until his serious leg injuries sustained at the Glen (or was it Lime Rock).
