My Ferrari 550 dream...

If you want more out of a 550, then you are better with a car than I. The 550 is too much of a car for me. The limits far exceed my abilities. Yes, the 550 may be fat but it makes it a much better ride. I drive my 550, not race it.

12 cylinders is nice.

That's cool, to each his own. Even though it's a really stupid thing to do, hot rodding a 550 and turning it into a street/track car is what floats my boat. Trying to find the limits of the car on the street is a fools game, which I personally don't have the balls to play.

 

I have a friend who is an awesome spray painter.

 

I haven'tdone any real calcs yet, waiting for thebrake kit to be fitted and using the downtime (they say it is a two week job because of custom fabrication of hats, brackets etc) to pull parts of the car for weights to be measured and moulds to made. I am hoping forweight savings of between 180-230kg.
