My “My Ferrari” app has frozen. The page has an overall red tint. It will not load. Wondering if I’m the only one?
It’s frozen so how could/should I update it? I hate to delete it. It was a bear to get it working from the start.
I hate to say it but the “My Ferrari” app sucks. Crashes. Freezes. Won’t load. Poor interface. Deletes owned cars and/or orders. Etc. Rather than spending who knows what on their terrible fashion line they need to hire some tech guys to start over on the application.
If you really need to have it, go to the the Play Store and see if it needs to be updated. A lot of apps won't work when they need to be updated.
I agree the app stinks. Never got it to work on my iPhone and it was so annoying I gave up on it p.s. if you are an attractive thin European the fashion line is amazing. If you are a “typical American” (I.e. me) not so much ;-)
I don't have the app on my phone either, Eric. I registered on Ferrari.com several years ago and only logged in twice.
I decided to delete the app and then reinstall it. I figured my configuration, etc. would be lost, but so what. Miracle of miracles the reinstalled app has my previous data.
I'm new to the Ferrari scene, and not to sound dumb, but within the My Ferrari App, they as for a Chassis # and a Number Plate. can someone inperpreate that to North American speak (VIN/ Assy #?) Thanks! Dave
The chassis number may be the entire VIN or just the last 6 digits of the VIN. No clue on number plate except for assembly number. The owners manual has a list of all the plates, so you can crosscheck it there.
I received an email from the app team. Blah, blah, blah . . . they’re having a problem and they’re working on it.
This worked to add my car following purchase: Chassis number: found on engine cover/last 6 of VIN Number plate: 6 digit number labeled “Assembly number” and found in the driver’s door jam, hinge side. Search for dealer required dealer name (city/state didn’t work). Upload purchase doc. Received message saying, thank you, we’ll work on this. Received email next day saying all set. Car appears in app. Best of luck!
Chassis # = VIN Number Plate = Assembly # (see photo) Usually in engine compartment or driver door jam Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wish I could get this figured out. I input the 6 digit chassis number, the 6 digit assembly number and when I upload either an image or .pdf of the registration I get Uri lacks 'file' scheme: content://com.android.providers.media.d...
You can't "install" your car yourself. You need to talk to a dealer who will verify your ownership, and then they will register the car. I ran into that with my Cali T.
