    Hello.

My love for Ferrari's goes back many years and I am sure it is similar to all the other Fchatters here!

I am now in a position to purchase a 348, and I was looking to see whether there were any well kept examples for sale here? I am not decided whether I want a Spyder version or not, however I am decided on the colour, RC Red.

I was also wondering whether anyone would be able to lend me a hand at the viewing stages, helping me to understand areas to look for?

I am based in the UK, in the Vale of Belvoir, between Melton Mowbray and Nottingham.

I think I would have purchased one before now if the Ferrari dealership hadn't said the 348 should never have been made, and basically wasn't up to much!!

I does seem that those who have them seem to be running them almost problem free.

    Many thanks, Chris.

    Chris,

Why not post this question in the UK section, there are a number of 348 owners who would disagree with the dealer who told you 348's were terrible, as well as a number of people who know of 348's for sale in the UK

    Regards

    Hello.

    Yes it was Graypaul!!

I am just after some honest opinions from owners 'in the know' really.

I don't want to part with £30k+ and make a big mistake.

Any help would be useful ...

    Thansk, Chris.

    Chris,

Try the UK section too :)

Other than that, have you driven a 348?

IMHO, if you like your driving raw and unassisted by computer/PAS etc, then it'll be your kind of car. The 348 was the last "man at one with machine" Ferrari, with nothing to dilute the experience IMHO :)

If you want a more modern, easier to drive car, then consider a 355 or newer. Drive that too before buying as you may prefer it.
