    Hi guys,
I finally bought my first ever Ferrari from Naples Motorsports. https://www.naplesmotorsports.com/vehicle-details/2009-ferrari-f430-16m-scuderia-convertible-89bc7b6a20e044dc93a1f32ca179bdc6
I have always been a Porsche fan, but I was so impressed by a Ferrari when my friend let me drive his Scuderia a few years ago. The Scud driving experience was visceral and epic!!! I then told myself I must own a Scud one day...Well luckily I found one especially one with my favorite color,Grigio Opaco. It should be delivered in a few days. As this is my first ever Ferrari, I am very excited and have many questions at the same time.
    1. I know that the paint of the 430 is very thin and in many cases the paint peeled off when PPF was removed. I plan to have the whole car PPF like I do with all of my Porsches, but I'm not sure if it is a good idea for this car especially with the matte paint. Have anyone of you guys had any experience with this situation?
    2. The car did not come with the window sticker. It would be nice to obtain a copy of the window sticker, but I know it is almost impossible to get one. I just want to know the options that came with the car. I have done some search on this forum and google but could not get a clear direction. Do you guys have any idea how I can obtain the option list for this car?
    3. Any independent Ferrari specialist besides Motorwerks in the Houston area that you guys would recommend?
    4. Is there anything else I need to look out for besides clutch wear ( at 93%) and the carbon ceramic brakes?
    Thanks guys.

    Superb spec car. Congrats.

I wouldn’t wrap it as the matte effect will be lost and it could damage the underlying paint, particularly if left on more than a couple of years.

Regarding the window sticker, you might track the car to selling dealer via vin or manuals and contract them about the sticker. They may have a copy of that, the order sheet, or other relevant info.

I’d get an annual service done now and use that as a baseline. Plenty of threads on clutch and brake preservation so search/read up and you should be covered.

Looks like a perfect specimen in every way. I would imagine coming from a dealer like that , it will have a current dealer inspection and complete service performed. Congrats on your find! I'm a new owner myself and personally think the 430 series embodies the most beauty of any of the recent models, but I admit, I'm biased. Enjoy.

    Congrats!
As a former owner of a 16M I can tell you that the car is absolutely amazing! As far as window sticker, there weren’t many options (iPod vs radio, CF side skirts....) - it is a racebred Ferrari!
Put an S line exhaust on it and enjoy it!

    I’m in Houston as well.

No affiliation but Sphere Motorsports - A lot of my customers have told me great things about their service work.

If you register the car with Ferrari -you need to prove ownership - you can access their website and look at the options that were ordered with your car. Ferrari also has an app where you can do the same thing.
