    Hi,

I am buying an F355 in the very near future.

The one I looked at last weekend happens to be a GTS. (see link below)

    http://www.driving.ie/usedcars/index.cfm?fuseaction=car&carID=1198625

It has the red hard top.

When driving a GTS, is the roof a little noisier than the GTB?

Given that the car I looked at above in the link has the hard top, there is very little difference in terms of looks between it and a GTB? Right?

I have no real preference whether it is a GTS or GTB. It just so happens that this is a GTS.

Let me know what your thoughts are on both.

    Thanks in Advance.

GTB has a more solid feel and is quieter, but not by much. The car has a different driving sensation since it is a completely closed cockpit. I prefer them to GTS', hgowever, the removable top in the GTS, if you can use it, is a dream.

Biased as I am to my GTB.......GTS is the best of both worlds. keep the gorgeous GTB B-pillar lines but get some open air feeling when you want it. They're also the lowest production body style...

Have to agree with Jay on this one (sorry Pap!). I'd get the GTS if price wasn't an issue. These are hard to find and I think will be among the most collectible in the future. And as Jay said ... The best of both worlds. Best of luck.

You will mainly use the car on fine days so it is lovely to be able to take the roof off

That said if the right car comes along and is a GTB so be it I guess

if you are not going to track your 355, GTS is the best option.

The GTS will be at least 5 times harder to find than a comparable GTB...

exactly the same conundrum for the 246 ! GT looks far better, but the air & noise in the GTS....(one of each is not an option)
GTS for motion - GT for parked up

GTS without a doubt, but I wouldn't hesitate on a GTB either.

    :D Pure gold.
