I’d likely sell it or trade it in at delivery of the 812. Really just a temp ride until the 812 shows up.

To be fair, all of my cars will be slow in comparison to the 812. I’ve got a couple M3s, an LS swapped 5 series, and have built a few race cars, all of which are significantly slower. All can be enjoyed differently.

Thanks. I haven’t noticed any difference at all when compared to a darker dash.....

I disagree. The 458 is a highly entertaining car that many of us with far more exotic/newer/faster Ferrari machines (some with 812's as well) will never let go.

Stew: Suggest you take the 458 for a test drive and report back.

I actually test drove the 458 right before the 812 back in March. My sales rep brought it by to drive again a couple weeks ago. I really enjoy the 458, great car to drive. Comfortable, good visibility, sounds awesome, fast enough, looks great, handles great. Checks a lot of boxes for sure. Really it's more convincing my girlfriend on the car than me lol

    Call her bluff! :D

You see, I made a deal with my wife can I sell the 355 and get a 458? Sure. Listed the 355, got the 458 anyway and here a year later the 355 is still for sale! admittedly the 355 is not that expensive though, 812 is a whole other league of expenditure at 10x the price. That is a good looking 458! Love the color.

I thought I might be able to make a deal with her by going with a 360 modena in TDF blue, but I'm not getting anywhere lol.

Congrats! Why not just wait and drive yourother cars in the mean time? Then the 812 might be more «hot» when you get it. If that is possible..?!? :) Good luck.

Add me to the list of people who think the upgraded hifi is very good. Best stereo I've had, I don't know why anything would complain about the power of it.

Carplay + upgraded hifi are both ones I do not regret at all.

I have HIFI on my 812, never played around with it. Not sure what it sounds like, but I am sure that it doesn’t matter.

Is your 812 TDF blue? Feel like I've seen it before in the area

Have you ever had a Burmester or Bowers and Wilkins or Bang and Olafsen? All three are way more powerful and precise in the sound. I think part of the problem is that I am using Bluetooth to stream and the signal may be weak which is why it's lacking power. I am going to try the USB port to see how that works.

Great spec- love the darker colors on Ferrari’s-I started with Titanio- next went with CdF- and now black on my 812. As sleeper as one can get with Ferrari
As for the upgraded sound system-definitely worth it as the base system is from the 1950s sound wise. No the upgrade system is not a B&O or Burmeister but is tolerable for those use to better sound systems. But it pales in comparison to the mellifluous notes of that V12!

I've been to most of the exotics@RTC shows as well as a bunch of Ferrari club events in the last year with it.

This is a great spec. Driving the 812 is most addictive. Hi Fi works
well though you might not care once you are focused on the superb drive and sound of glory.

USB and hard drive are much better on the stereo. It sounded really crisp and had way more power than Bluetooth. I compared them back to back on

Yeah, that's the first copy I had of it back in 1977. Anyway, it sounds great from the HD and probably about the same from the USB, the bluetooth sucks. The amp isn't as powerful as the other cars but it does sound like a decent quality system.
