    Hi everyone.

Im buying a 348 by the end of the year, i will use it every single day but only for small drives(club, coffe, bar, the night life). So i have a few questions:)
    how bad is the milleage?
Do they leak when driven often?
since i will be driving it almost every day the major service can be done at the 50k milles, like the factory originally recommended?
Here in Portugal you can find them for about 30k€ to 40k€ with few milles\klm in them. Tell me what do you think?

    Thank you:)

I say go for it, but don't think of driving one after a night of drinking & dancing.

I get good gas mileage in the 348. Typically around 22 mpg in mixed highway / sity driving. Mine leaks in the rain, but I just keep a small towel to dry off the drips. If you drive it regularly I think you can definitely go for 50k miles between big services, but I would do the service every 5 years, unless I hit the mileage mark first. Good luck, they are great cars!

The mileage is worse than a Prius. 15mpg - 5km/litre?? Depends how you drive it really.
Do you mean leaking from the roof? How often does it rain in Portugal?
Ferrari says the belt service is every 3 years or 30k miles. I wouldn't suggest trying to avoid it.

Regarding the engine leaking, I have a very small (2-3 drops per drive) oil leak, but it is no big deal. And converting my mileage I get around 9 km/litre. I think if you drive it everyday you will have less trouble with the car, but the drive will become less special also.

If maintained and serviced as the car should be there should not be any major leaks from the engine bay. Hood luck with your 348 purchase! It is a rare person who drives the Fcar everyday and may you be so lucky... I drive mine twice a week on average. Just two uncomfortable, hot, and fast for daily driving in Florida in the Summer. Damn I must be getting old when I choose the old beat up pick up over the Ferrari.

Same thing here. My 328 does very similar mileage if driven moderately.
My experience also tells me that it will leak LESS if driven regularly, probably because seals get "wetter" and do a better job.

There is a Portuguese corner on FChat, you might want to check it out. Let me know if you need any help locally

I guess it will be a little uncomfortable sometimes, but im only going out with it at night and weekends, on very short rides so i guess it wont be so bad:)
the weather here is very good for the most part of the year, besides i dont think i can let the car sit in the garage:)

I'm with you... DRIVE IT. I drive my Ferrari a minumum of 4 days a week to work about 15 miles each way, and of course both weekend days and evenings... It seems to me that I have less issues than some of the other local 355 drivers that don't drive theirs as much... Hopefully I didn't just jinx myself.. But Drive it!!! If you just want to look at it an 1/18 scale model is much cheaper to maintain...
