Looks great; where you located? You going to be able to drive it right away or will it have to hibernate for the winter? You are going to love working through the gears with a slight feather of exhaust between shifts!

Nice! Started up my 348 yesterday on the first try in storage. Going to take her out asap, and to get clear bra this month.

Nice I love those seats I've spent hours searching for a set and all I ever find are cars for sale that have them. Congrats they are a different experience. At least compared to anything I drove prior to this.

Congratulations Vet! If you are in fact located in a place where you can drive her right away, please post your impressions so the rest of us can re-live the experience vicariously. There is NOTHING like that first ride...

Congrats! I think another member was looking at that car. Does it have cracks along the buttress?

Thanks, it is always great finding a used car that is exactly what your looking for. I have been watching 355's for years and now was finally the time to bring that dream home!

Thank You, Lots of comments on the seats, which wasn't of my "has to have" items. Is the desirability of these seats related to function or rareness?

For me it's just a combination of style and comfort. The stock 355 seats don't have as much support. Then of course the carbon just looks cool. Plus the overall look of the seat faces are drastically different. In my opinion they fit the car better than the normal ones. I looked at. 348 challenge car which have them and I really liked that about the 348 too. Again congrats!

Nice find. I almost bought the exact same spec car last year. Giallo/black with carbon seats. Found out at the last minute it had been wrecked by searching F-chat. The one you got is a different serial number. Congrats!

I bought a 1998 355 TDF Blue with cream interior in November. I flew to Florida to drive it back to Pennsylvania. I had plans to stop at several places of interest on the way back, but two days into the trip, an approaching ice storm changed my plans and had to hustle back from South Carolina in one day. It was still a memorable trip and can't wait to hear that engine wail again. The car has been in the shop getting a thorough "going over" pretty much ever since and it has been a snowy, icy winter so far here in PA, but anxious for Spring to get here!

I've been seraching for a set for quite some time now.. But here in Brazil only one car came with the CF seats, unfortunantly.

Looks pristine, mate. Have fun with her and remember to keep her over 5000/rpm as much as possible.
