    I am 16 I live in Rockland (pretty close to world wide Ferrari) and go to school in Livingston. I was a huge fan of Ferrari since I was 10 and never got to see a Ferrari (besides passing world wide Ferrari) till this day. I was in school when my friend comes and says “there’s a Ferrari in the parking lot next door”. That second I grabbed my camera ran a block down and right in front me was a glowing Rosso Corsa 430 spider. For some reason I got nervous, my hand stared shacking and I had a hard time turning on my camera but I got it on and I got some nice picks of me 430. Although I did see a Gallardo up close the experience was nothing compared to having one of earths finest cars 2 inches away.

    That's right: THOU SHALL KNEEL BEFORETH FERRARI! :D

    Nice. When I was ~10 I nearly caused my mother to crash while driving when I lurched across her, pointing with my whole arm, "THERE'S A FERRARI!!" Point is, I know the feeling :)

    question for anyone.....
    If you could have a 430 Spider versus a Gallerdo Spyder for the weekend... which one?

    A Gallardo? from what I heard the 430 is faster in a strait line, faster around the track, handles just as good more race setting, better exhaust sound, better quality and where im from more excusive. 430 for me any day of the week

    430 every time....not many cars have the cache of a Ferrari. Don't get me wrong, the Gallardo's a fantastic car, just not as great as a 430. Ohhhh, and make mine a Scuderia :)

    You're asking on a Ferrari board what's better, Ferrari or Lamborghini?

    I mean, I get that almost no one here owns a Ferrari but... I bet if you ask that same question on the Lambo Power you'll get a different answer.

    PS: Rent the S7. :)

    Lambo G , But I remember the 1st Exotic I seen up close was a Ferrari Testarossa in the city. I stood there just looking for almost an hour, My Father (R.I.P) just watched me untill he was like enuff we gotta go LoL. Been hooked since then.

    You guys are missing the boat.
    Get a Mondi or 308.
    You get just as many speeding tickets
    you get just as high repair bills
    you get just as many female phone numbers
    you get just as much agita when the valet takes the keys
    you pray just as much hoping the car starts
    you get just as warm wondering if that's the car's heat or a fire is smoldering in the back
    you get just (if not more) nervous as those big 18-wheeler wheels tower over your car
    you get just as many women's phone numbers for owning a sexy Italian car (deserves to be mentioned twice 'cause it's important)

    AND

    you get one heck of a better looking car!

    You give the valet your keys? :eek: I will always park my own, and then tip the valet so his panties don't get wadded up.

    No I don't. But the whole Valet dance is enough to give you agita.

    you pull up
    their eyes pop out of their sockets
    they start salivating
    their right leg/foot starts to exhibit "Restless leg syndrome"
    they reach for the keys
    you hand them a fiver
    they reach for the keys
    you introduce them to Alexander Hamilton
    their ferver turns to disappointment as they point you to the spot in the valet lot.

    then the dance to retain your keys begins.

    dont get me wrong the 308 is a nice looking car but the 430 blows it out of the water in terms of looks imo

    I think that’s only true for the Gallardo. The lp640 is still all Italian

    It's not even close. The Gallardo SPYDER is a pig and commonly weigh above 3700 lbs, and many times more. The F430 can get up there, but not nearly as high.


    It is slower than a comparably equipped F430 spider and has a much quieter exhaust. RWD is just more fun.
