    Hi, I just registered to this forum since I started collecting ferrari stuf a few months ago... I'm more into the F360 1/43 scale models by Redline or BBR. I'm also collecting M.Schumacher stuff.
    I went to my friend's place who just came back from California after 2 years and I noticed that he bought a box of Tictac in Italy at a Ferrari museum. The box is pretty big (like 4-5 inches in height) and there is a M.Schumacher picture on it.
    Now I want to know if someone knows where I can buy this item or if someone ever heard of it!!

    Thank you...
    BTW I'm so glad that I can share my passion with ferrari fans!

    Hi, Pat;

    Sorry I don't have a firm answer for you about the "Tic-Tac" question, but I think I may have heard that these were seen at airport gift shops. I know my stepson was able to buy me a can of Ferrari black deodorant stick ("manufactured under license of Ferrari spa Maranello Italy") at the airport in London last year.

    Of course Tic-Tac was an official sponsor for Ferrari, so it wouldn't be a ripoff for them to use Schumacher for marketing their product.

    It's probably a bit more complicated than that.

    Undoubtedly lawyer from Ferrero met with Ferrari merchandising to negotiate a deal with them. Ferrari would represent Michael on their behalf to hammer out a fee of which Michael would probably get a cut of.

    Obviously Michael does not want to be associated with anything unsavoury.

    Also other F1 drivers have sold their names directly for merchandising eg. Coultard, Schumacher Jr. and Villenueve.

    Some of the items bearing their names are decidedly odd.
