when we rock...we rock when we roll...we roll Good job picking a 550 as the first! Did 6300 miles in one...best GT there is! Can't wait to see her again.
Maybe I am not following this thread correctly, but if the pictures being posted are supposed to be of the same car as Omar's, I would just point out that Omar's appears to have the 19" 575 modular wheels while the other 550 pictured has the 18" 550 modulars.
Congrats! As your first, the Maranello will spoil you! Here she is on the set of FOX's Hell's Kitchen in October '04... Image Unavailable, Please Login
OH MAN is that thing hot? And man o shevitz does it bring back good memories. Omar you picked up a car of straight player proportion. Come out to a drive sometime, we need more 550 kids. --Dan
Congratulations... How do those do as daily drivers? I am either wanting to upgrade my 996 with a 997s or look at an early 575/550, for daily driving... thanks
Congrats Omar. Glad to see she is staying "in the family." That is really one of the best examples I've seen with the sport seats and modular wheels. The look on your face says it all, continue enjoying in good health.
Congratulations! Tell us about the differences between your C4S, which I thought was one of the best Porsche's ever, and the black beauty. Forza, Cavallini
Well...it has only been about a week with the maranello, but my first impressions are just wow wow wow. I feel the car is so much more balanced than my 996 C4S (which to me always felt very light in the front end during heavy cornering). There is no comparison in terms of power which is abundant throughout the entire range of revs. I have not had a tremendous amount of hours in the driver's seat this past week because of weather, but so far I am very impressed. Interior comfort and overall ergonomics are steps above the 996. And then there is the aural pleasures of the tubi and a V12...............big smile.
Congrats OMar!! That's a beautiful car! Noticed that you are in San Francisco... you should join us on some of our drives. Let me know if you're interested. Good luck with her mate!
Omar, you have quite a beaut. We can make a model just to match so that you can put in your office or home. Shoot me a pm if you are interested. e
congrats! Now drive her hard and often! Nice girl btw too! enjoy! The fun has only begun! Have you gone through the Columbus ave tunnel yet with the windows down at 8000 rpm? You will be spoiled forever! gordon
