    Update:

    Plugged up the heater valve in, and out yesterday. Unplugged the aux pump as well. No more hot air coming out of the vents.

    Now on to rigging up a fan switch.

    well, super old thread but of interest to me now as well. any updates on tis control repair or other possibilities.
