They're ADV005 MV2 SL model, two-piece wheels, 20x9 and 20x12.5, the rears are 0.5" wider than my rear wheels! The rear fenders are trimmed, no rubbing at all. Probably can't with those wheels and ride height; they won't clear the fenders. Personally, I find a car that is too low looks odd and detracts from the lines. This car is too low for my taste but I am sure others here love the look.
I think it looks stunning. But IMHO driving a car that low is almost a chore and takes away enjoyment from the experience.
Those wheels are crazy sick! WOW... I want them now I would have to agree on the "not very practical" .. I am worried about every pothole, road bumps, scraping with factory height .. haha
Mine was that low when I got it.. Raised it immediately as it was a pain to drive, scraped and bottoms out. Looks good but would look better a little higher, again that's the great thing about opinions...
Looking good! The Ferrari center caps are a nice change of pace over the standard ADV.1 center caps as well.
I think it looks fantastic, but I tend to agree with most, that the drivability is probably very bad because you have to constantly worry if you will scrape. Also, I think these wheels look very similar to the wheels on the 488 GTB.
WIth 20x9 and 20x12.5 wheels, do they kick up more debris due to the fact that they are further out in the wheel well than stock versions? Has the owner put on clear bra to protect the rockers, side of car and wheel wells?... Cheers FN
Not the same as fender rolling. He said he used a palm sander, a lot of grit papers and masking tape as a guide line to sand down before sanding.
Those look incredible on the car! Can you provide tire specs, and wheel specs including width and offset?
That's funny..."not practical"...I just couldn't resist as many define this brand by starting off with how impractical they are...what do they know...LOL
+1. My previous car was almost that low. It scraped all the time. Nothing worse than hearing a loud scraping noise and looking over to see that it's a Ferrari. Looks great...but has to sit in the garage all the time because you can't drive it anywhere.
Worse is hearing the tire scraping the wheel well/liner under full compression at the track! ; ) Looks cool for a cruiser, but I wonder how usable they are at the limit.
Guys, my car is pretty slammed also, although I raised it a bit recently. Most people told me that I couldn't drive the car anywhere but they are all wrong! If you know where you're going, you certainly can drive a low Ferrari, I have lots of pics as proof that I drive my car everywhere Spirited mountain drives, small towns roads, downtown area with bad roads, parking lots with tight entrance (where you can't angle the car much), mall parkings with steep ramps etc.
