i have an 05 f430 that i had for about an hour and then a shelf fell on it in my garage and put a dent on the hood. i was going to send it to the Collection in Miami because i live right down the street from them but they never answered their phones in service or called back from messages i left to them. i decided to call lauderdale and was able to get in contact with someone on my first call. i got a call back from tony the body shop manager and he met me on a sunday to drop the car off and then drove me to the airport. he took care of everything with the insurance and they were trying not to pay for damage (because thats what insurance companies do) and he got them to pay for everything. they fixed it within the time he said he would have it done and called me almost every day with an update and pictures. they did a great job and i was very happy with the work they did. i was also happy with the service department gabe was great and was always easy to get in contact with.
i think they did a great job there and i would use them again when im back in florida.

Nice to hear a good story once in a while. Unfortunately we have been inundated with bad news lately.

They are a first class operation. I have always been treated well there.

I just left my Scuderia at Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale this afternoon.

Unbelievable, out of this World Ferrari service. The showroom is unreal. The people are so nice, very radical opposite experience to what I get when walking into other Ferrari dealers. I understand that owning a Ferrari does not guarantee or entitles one to experience great service, but Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale does it.

Gabe is a great knowledgeable service consultant, Garrett is running a first class business.

I'm very glad to have them nearby.

I saw them all in a day, a Lambirghini Reventon with no driven miles, a 2005 Red Carrera GT that is calling my name, a F40, F458 Challenge, 16M, Scuderias, Italias, a 599 GTO, and the best of show: a 599 GTB with a Novitec package producing 850 Hp, and such a great customization.

They are now running almost weekly track days at PBIR for customers and friends, fun getaway in the middle of the week.

it is hard sometimes to find a good dealer.i live in connecticut most of the time and Miller is

the worst to deal with they take forever to even look at the car let alone fix it. i have to take

my car almost to boston to ferrari of new england to get it fixed, i just had to drop it off

yesterday and today they already know whats wrong and are fixing it a day later. they are

very good at ferrari of new england they actually answer calls and return them too. miller

doesnt and they make you feel like they are doing you the favor of fixing your car and i dont l
    l
    ike that.

Nah. They treat me like a nobody, while FoFL treats me like a king! Big difference in attitudes and service.

Sorry, but I don't buy this about Competizione at all. Richard and Fernando are two of the most caring and competent mechanics in the country, period. FOW, now thats a different story.

They have worked on my car as well. The problem is that they are much too overwhelmed with challenge cars and large projects, that smaller customers (like me) take the hit. There are just too many cars for 2 guys to handle. They took 3 weeks just to change a hub nut on my 355. I know they recently hired a helper, but for less money I had my engine rebuilt by Al Roberts of FoFL (Pebble Beach Concours BEST IN SHOW winning technician). Competizione also left my car in the rain and returned it dirty. FoFL returned my car fully buffed and detailed. I'm not doubting their mechanical abilities, but like I said, there is a big difference in the level of customer service. I will likely use Competizione for small repairs, but FoFL was the right choice for my major + rebuilt heads.

Also, just FYI... FoFL was the only authorized dealer selected by Ferrari to prep the ALMS 458 Grand Am race car :)

Sorry to hear that Brendan. They always bent over backwards for me, even opening up the shop on Saturdays to do oil/brake fluid changes and such.

No doubt Will H. keeps them plenty busy up there!! I believe he is sitting in 2nd position in points in the Ferrari racing series.

Well this thread makes all of my hard work worthwhile. I have always been a car guy turned dealer not the other way around. And I know how i want my fellow Ferrari lovers treated but it is very nice to hear that the message is being broadcasted by actions rather than words.

I have just had a small recognition party in the middle of the showrrom. for the guys mentioned to remind them that the extra bit of effort and the smile doesnt go unrecognized and to motivate the rest of our team. I read this thread out loud and gave told the guys mentioned to take their wives/ GFs (or whatevers..haha) to dinner on me as a thank you.

BUt most importantly thank you guys for bringing it to my attention. I hope we continue to surprise people. THis should be fun (minus the shelf issues). WHy not enjoy our cars and the entire ownership Experience.

I agree its important to illuminate the positive experiences as well as the bad ones. I see this in my industry as well where only upset customers leave reviews, the customers that are very happy just expect it and dont leave reviews. This leaves you with mostly bad comments.

Garrett; Please get your STicky [shift] key lubricated ;)
