Thank you for the pics M ! The Black wheel choice is a big win. The finish of the wheels is perfect. It's not that you're a bad photographer, those are the pics 95% of the people would have taken. It's just that in the automotive world, there are some Photography nerds that are really skilled.Yesterday I watched the pics taken in Knokke again. That guy took some jewels of your monster. There is a side pic that is so gorgeous. A GTO/GTB side by side in lightened place at night would be THE shoot. Well you seem to keep those cars for now so I'm sure so maybe one day the opportunity will come !
Some pictures of the GTO posted on a "spotter" web site. They came out nice so I thought I would share these. Pictures courtesy of spotter "scorpion". Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful... You know the Black roof and the black wheels give the car a very awesome and Futuristic touch. For me, It gives a Japanese touch to the car. Not the Weird japanese tuning on Supra/skyline,but a japanese aesthetic touch. A picture of your GTO with those beautiful japanese Cherry Trees in the background would be perfect. So you can ship your car to japan (Long & expensive) or you can harass your local mayor for him to Put those trees in your city. Like an arab prince.Growing trees just for a picture loool... (My Uncle is a photographer, and he gave me many ideas trough his work. Unfortunally he is not a petrol-head)
M. Scorpion does some nice work! Pic.#3 from across the street really shows off those black rims and caps. That option really gives your GTO an over the top visual. Enjoy in good health.
He does. Some of these spotters know how to use a camera (much better than I do). I'm so glad I stuck with my original thought of the black rims. Totally different look. Goes to show you ... once you've made up your mind: stick with it
I wish I lived in europe so I could photograph your car! It's still early but I am hoping to make it out there for the 24 hours of nurburgring next year so maybe I could find you then.
Glad you like it. Makes two of us 100% correct. I'll be there. P4/5 Competizione will be there so wouldn't want to miss that for anything in the world Maybe we will cross paths
M, we got to see a ton of GTO's today in varying different specs. I have to say yours is great, sporty and aggressive suiting the car very much. I am sure you are enjoying her tremendously and drive in good health!
Thanks. This car does indeed provide me with tons of pleasure both from driving it and from looking at it Did you get to see the GTO's during the F1 weekend in Singapore?
Hello M-individual, I'm the man who took your GTO in pictures at Spa at the Ferrari Owners Day 2010. I'm pleased to see that you are using one of them as avatar. I hope I'll see you again at Spa... Guillaume Tassart (www.flickr.com/photos/tguillaume and http://www.flickr.com/photos/tguillaume/sets/72157625051304700/) PS: I propose, to thanks me for this good pictures, to organize a shooting of your GTO... what do you thing about that? ;-). We could arrange that with Julien Mahiels who I know very well. I was with him on the track...
Bonjour Gillaume, Seems like you form a great couple with Julien. I already made a note to send a PM to Julien next time I'm taking the GTO to Spa as I would certainly like to meet up with you guys for a shoot. I'll be sending you an Julien a PM soon. Best regards, M
Génial. J'attends déjà ce moment avec impatience. J'imagine déjà une photo de ta GTO en mouvement dans le raidillon prise du coffre d'une voiture précédente... Congratulation for this awesome GTO and thank you to show it on a track. I was speechless when I saw it at Spa. Are you going sometimes to the Nurburgring? It's also a great place to shoot a sport car and we'are used to go there with Julien...
I like your ideas. That would make one hell of a shot on the Raidillon I'm glad you had a good time at Spa. So did I.
