Beautiful car!! Can i ask, why was your "new" car at Carrozzeria Zanasi? Where they commissioned to compete the finish? Or did a test driver shunt your car before delivery ?
The factory was so hurry to ship the car to you, they didn't spray the last top coat and buff it??? Just kidding.... darn nice machine!!!!
From what I assumed was that the special request like colours, carbon, extras, etc. Are being done at this department, not sure though, I was just happy to see my car in the clip... Perhaps someone can let us know why it is that certain cars are being commissioned there??
Yes, Zanasi do a lot of paintwork for Ferrari - the special colours, but also corrections to the standard paint if needed. Also all the stripes of the Challenge Stradale, 430 Scuderia and 16M are done by Zanasi, I assume also those of the GTO. They also do special interiors for the factory - I was shown samples of a jeans interior that a client had specified for example. Zanasi has grown quite a bit lately, with now several buildings present in Maranello - quite impressive! May I ask you what´s the official name of the colour of your very impressive GTO? Hi Lars, thanks for the info that does sound correct. The colour is not Nero daytona I just chose the flat Nero(non-metallic) and then requested it to be done matte. I will post more pictures Monday, Tuesday next week, I can't wait to drive it!! They did forget to put the privacy glass on the back so we have ordered it from Ferrari and will have to fit it once it arrives
4 official allocations I was told and 15 confirmed deposits. I was told that they will be lucky to see 6. I'm pretty happy with that! Even if another 4 come through and it's 10, still ok!
Looking forward to seeing some GTOs here in Melbourne- pending if Lindsay Fox hasn't already put his name down for 1- and meeting the owners! Haha and I think it could be assumed that any other remaining examples available will be snapped up by the Sultan of Brunei....bulk order
I heard from a good source 4 have officially landed and will be a total of 6 in Australia. Already a few in Melb. A friend drove a customers GTO last week. Wont be long before you see them around.
Could be true, and with 15 confirmed deposit I don't think Ferrari would miss a sale if they had some spare gto's laying around.
