    They do get testy, especially in the mountains and the sulphur towns!!!! Lercara Friddi was my great granddads home town prior to New York!

    You said it! My grandmother was from Racalmuto. Funny enough, although she was proud of her Sicilian heritage, she forbid any of her kids to learn Italian. She said she wanted them to assimilate into America. I suspect she didn't want us to know she was cursing in Italian! [emoji2]
